We clad a 60-year-old reinforced concrete garage with spruce boards that had been stored behind the garage for decades. The boards were only lightly planed and oiled and now shine in warm honey tones in the green garden.

The depth of the custom wood paneling makes what lies behind it disappear as you walk by. The boards also vary in thickness, creating an exciting rhythm.

We placed the old anchor chain link on a large stone in front of it, creating an interesting contrast in color, shape, and materiality.
